Alice Backyard story
Welcome to the cozy mini-resort, Alice's Backyard Guesthouse, located in the beach district of Pärnu! While Pärnu has gained popularity as a resort town since the 19th century thanks to its beautiful beaches, relaxing atmosphere, and vibrant summer events, Alice's Backyard began hosting guests in the 1960s. This was done by my beloved grandmother, Alice Kants. Alice was a bright and colorful character, a true embodiment of the Pärnu spirit. She had the Estonian tenacity, spunk, and entrepreneurship to open the doors of her home to the summer tourists arriving in Pärnu as early as the 1960s. While hosting guests in the heart of this popular resort town, she offered more than just a place to stay. She provided heartfelt hospitality, relaxing massages, and delicious meals. Just as I do today, along with my family members. Perhaps it’s in our genes... In creating experiences at Alice's Backyard, we have carefully selected every detail, always with the aim of paying respectful tribute both to my grandmother Alice and to you, dear guest. OÜ Memmemajutus has been offering accommodation since summer 2016. Located in the city centre of Pärnu, this historic house is the perfect place to spend a great holiday with family or friends.
We have 3 comfortably renovated spacious 2 bedroom apartments. Each apartment has 4 main beds, possibility to add a baby crib. There is everything you need for a perfect holiday: a spacious living room with a kitchen area fully equipped with everything you need to prepare food, toilet, shower room, bed linen, towels, free wifi, parking.
In addition, you can sunbathe in the garden and enjoy breakfast on the terrace of the cozy Garden Cafe.
Near the house there is a Selver grocery store, Pärnu adventure centre and Pärnu beach is five minute walk away.
